Live Music @ the Porter House

Since 2023 the Porter House now offers extra live music sessions every weekend throughout the year. There are two live music sessions daily from Monday to Friday and now there are three daily on Saturdays and Sundays.

The weekly schedule is reasonably structured and includes the following line-up:

Monday to Friday sees traditional music sessions in the evening followed by more upbeat, varied live music come the night. Thursday night in particular sees a more theatrical event with a two person act and including live music and banter throughout.

Friday night being the start of the weekend is again more lively while Saturday night is contemporary and upbeat and sees the pub packed with all ages dancing to the music till late!  On Sunday the tempo slows again with traditional Irish music sessions both evening and night.
